Additional Notes:

There are plenty of ways to show your support at your Cheering Station, such as:

  • Wearing a group uniform or matching T-shirts so that the walkers know who you are!
  • Displaying signs and decorations. Think pink!
  • Refreshing the walkers with squirts from a spray bottle or hose.
  • Handing out popsicles or candy.
  • Playing some fun and upbeat music.

Get creative! The possibilities are endless and the walkers will be thrilled.

Here are a few important rules to be aware of for your Cheering Station:

  • Please leave the site cleaner than when you found it and recycle anything that can be recycled. All candy, wrapped items and decorations should be taken with you when leaving the site.
  • We highly encourage volunteers to carpool with each other. This will complement our 3-Day for the Cure greening efforts by reducing fuel usage and the amount of space that is needed for extra parking spots. Thank you for assisting us in this effort.
  • The selling of items is not permitted.
  • Cooking, alcoholic beverages and tents are prohibited.
