The Most Difficult Part

In the beginning, the fundraising is always the most challenging part but if you were to ask any of our team members what they are focusing on right now… it would be training!  3-Day walkers average over 500 miles during their training season.  Yes, 3-Day is its own season for many of us!

We try to train together as much as we can, it really helps the time go by.  Training walks are typically from 3 to 18 miles.  Yes… 18 miles!  As you can imagine, the longer walks can take a lot of time… support… and potty breaks!  Here are a few pictures from our favorite pit stop!  Mama Coconut, Gabbi (our favorite canine supporter) and their entire family make us feel like rockstars!

Sometimes we even stop to smell the flowers along the way…

Some days, after all of the miles and the incredible heat… we get a little goofy!

Thank you to everyone who helped us during our 3-Day season!  We’ve put in the miles and raised a lot of money to make a difference in the battle against cancer!

Love,

Team Coconutter Strutters
