Crazy for a Cure?

There is a fairly good chance that you have heard about October being ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ month.  Pink ribbons accent the fall colors around Michigan and the publicity of Saving Second Base or Supporting the Girls really does work!  Our team has been blessed with the most amazing supporters but when we promoted fundraising events almost every weekend this month, our supporters stood behind us the entire way (even if they thought we were crazy)! 

Between Bras for a Cause, Tackle for a Cure, Cookies for a Cure and our annual Halloween Party

you helped us raise over $15,000! 

Thank you!  That’s enough to provide over 125 life saving mammograms! 

What a great start for our 2014 goals – Michigan and Twin Cities, we hope you’re ready for a crazy bunch of coconuts!  Enjoy the outtake video below for an idea of how crazy we are for a cure.  (During the Michigan event this year, a sweep van drove by with a fun poem on the written on the window.  We’ll never forget it!)

October is Breast Cancer awareness month – that means Team Coconutter Strutters is busy!

Join Team Coconutter Strutters and the Women's Council of Realtors Lakeshore Chapter for 'Bras for a Cause'!

Silent Auction 6:30pm
Fashion Show 7:00pm

Go to http://www.coconutterstrutters.com/p/bras-for-cause.html for more information on volunteering as a male model, submitting a bra package or becoming a sponsor for the event.  Tickets are $20 or Table of 8 for $160.  50% of all proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen 3Day for the Cure.

Please come experience the amazing artwork of Mehndi/Henna Artist Heather Spataro (owner of Ink of India). These temporary tattoo's last approximately 2 weeks. What a great way to try out the tattoo you've always wanted without it being permanent.

Heather has graciously donated her time to do as many tattoo's this day as possible. She will be donating 100% of all tattoos done with the 2 chosen breast cancer ribbons and 25% of all traditional tattoos. Tattoo's will range in price from $5-$35.

 

Oct 21^st-23^rd 

 12 of the Coconutter Strutters will be walking 60 miles or crewing the event that takes place in Atlanta, GA!  We’re very excited to meet new friends, hear new stories and spread awareness in a whole new location.  Go Iron Coconut!
